Trump Says Netanyahu 'Will Not Be Arrested' if He Visits the US Benjamin Netanyahu's planned visit to the United States has sparked controversy over his potential arrest by New York City authorities.

The Israeli prime minister, who faces an international criminal court (ICC) arrest warrant issued in November 2024 for alleged war crimes in Gaza, is set to attend a UN general assembly meeting in September.

Donald Trump recently intervened on Netanyahu's behalf, assuring him that "he will not be arrested, in any way, shape, or form while in the United States of America.
